FAQ

  • How is coaching different from therapy or consulting?

Therapy often focuses on understanding past experiences. Consulting offers expert advice and solutions.

Coaching is forward-looking. We focus on who you want to be, what matters now, and how to move toward it with clarity and intention. My role is to help you think clearly, uncover your own insight, and make change that lasts.

  • Can I do coaching and therapy at the same time?

Yes. Many clients work with a therapist and a coach at the same time, as long as the focus of each is distinct.

Therapy often supports emotional healing, mental health, or past experiences. Coaching focuses on present decisions, future direction, and how you want to show up in your work and leadership.

When those boundaries are clear, the two can complement each other well.

  • Who is coaching right for?

This work is best suited for thoughtful professionals who want to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be.

Many of my clients tend to overthink, carry a high sense of responsibility, and want their work to align more fully with who they are now.

  • What happens in a coaching session?

Sessions are private and focused. We explore your goals, challenges, and patterns, and I’ll help you clarify what matters most and identify the next step forward.

  • What can I expect from coaching?

Coaching provides thoughtful reflection, honest feedback, and steady accountability.

The focus is on turning insight into action and ensuring the changes you want are integrated and sustained, not just discussed.

  • How long do clients typically work with you?

Most clients begin with an initial career clarity phase, often lasting 4–6 months. This allows enough time to clarify direction, make decisions, and integrate change thoughtfully.

For clients who move into leadership or executive coaching, the work often continues over a longer horizon. Leadership development tends to unfold over 6–12 months or more, as new responsibilities, visibility, and decision-making demands evolve.

We revisit goals regularly and adjust the scope and cadence based on what best supports your growth.

  • How do payments work?

Payments are processed securely online through Stripe before sessions or packages begin. Major credit cards and digital payment options are accepted.

  • Is coaching covered by insurance?

Coaching is not typically covered by health insurance. Some clients use professional development, learning, or wellness stipends through their employer. Payments are made directly, and receipts can be submitted if reimbursement is available.

  • Is coaching confidential?

Yes. Everything discussed remains confidential. I adhere to the International Coaching Federation’s ethical standards and professional guidelines.

  • How do I get started?
